our origin story

The story starts in the 1990’s at Arnold where Barb was Media Director, Debbie was Associate Media Director, then joined Barb at Ingalls working on TJX Companies, Raytheon, Ocean Spray, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Puma and other iconic brands.  

When Debbie founded Mediaworks the vision was a senior level team working together to deliver brand results for all of their clients. And so she pulled together the best from her agency experience to build today’s team. 

And then along came Barb. Joining Mediaworks in 2017 to continue the momentum of strategic, insightful planning combined with smart, results oriented buying.

Dana

DANA BRIGGEMAN | Partner + Strategist  |  EMAIL

Dana delivers a strategic approach to planning and strives to ensure that all media dollars spent are maximized to their full potential.  Dana brings 20+ years of experience for both national and local clients in the B2C and B2B categories with a specialization in retail and financial clients.  

Prior to consulting, Dana directed all retail media planning for Cole Haan to build the brand at the local store level; this included supporting store openings and market initiatives via media and in-store events.  Dana was the Media Director at The Boston group where she was in charge of all media planning and new business for all accounts. Before joining The Boston Group she worked at Houston Herstek Favat and Arnold all in Boston.

Some past and present clients include: Aeropostale, WS Development, TOMY, Mercer Pavilion, Wellington Management, Honey Dew, Circle Health, Celticare/NH Healthy Families, Barbados Tourism, Bose Electronics, Brinks Home Security, Cole Haan, Converse, Emirates Airlines, Fidelity, Four Seasons, Natixis Global Advisors, PNC Advisors, Unified Trust, and Glenmede Wealth Management.

Dana graduated from Ithaca College with a BA in History.  She is a fan of all racquet sports and plays women's hockey for the Twisted Sisters where she oversees team marketing.

Leah

As VP/Associate Media Director at Ingalls, she managed the broadcast buying group and led the team to deliver business results for key clients such as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, CVS, Ocean Spray and Nissan. 

Leah then took those skills to the TJX Company, where she became the Media Manager, managing the in-house team and coordinating multiple agencies.  

In 2009 she joined Mediaworks to lead the team on Delta Dental, Winchester Hospital, Metro Credit Union and Arbella Insurance.  

Leah is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, BA in Visual Arts.

Vicky

VICKY GEARY | Partner + Strategist |  EMAIL

Vicky has always been a forward thinker, which has served her well in the fast-moving world of media trends.  Vicky runs media strategy, analysis and execution for some of Mediaworks most prestigious clients – The Boston Ballet, WS Development and Cell Signaling Technology.

Originally from North Carolina, where she graduated from North Carolina State University, Vicky has spent more than twenty years in media management roles, working on many technology and B2B businesses such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Newbury College, America Online, Bingham, Teradyne and Raytheon.

Frank

FRANK GIOVANIELLO  | Chief Financial Officer |  EMAIL


Frank brings 25+ years of experience in marketing and advertising to the Mediaworks team. His early years at such Boston Ad Agency powerhouses like Houston Effler and Wallwork Curry McKenna served him well in taking the reins as Mediaworks’ CFO when it was founded in 2000.  Frank is skilled in Accounting, Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Strategic Planning. And along the way, Frank even took a detour into the world of comedy writing for Second City in Chicago.

When not working hard managing Mediaworks, Frank spends his time with his wife and two very active sons, and two very active dogs in New Hampshire.
